What is a TS150?
The Ruskin TS150 is a UL Classified heat response device which is used in conjunction with Ruskin fire/smoke dampers. The optional device can be ordered with electric actuators or pneumatic actuators and EP (electro/pneumatic) switches.
What does the TS150 do?
The TS150 allows the dampers to be reopened after the initial heat closure for dynamic smoke control. The TS150 must be installed at the factory and cannot be added in the field.
Typical applications requiring the "reopenablility" (TS150 option) are applications requiring pressurization of stairwells or the floors above and below a fire designed in engineered smoke management systems.
