Ruskin’s models EAMS and EAMS-HP electronic air measuring stations each include a highly accurate heated mass flow sensor and integral controller. The heated mass flow sensor is temperature independent within its rated operating range and each unit includes altitude compensation based on the elevation of the job site location. The sensor is located behind the air scoop manifold, inside the sensor chase, protecting it from water carryover. This design makes the EAMS/HP the perfect solution for outdoor air measuring applications and preferable to designs using multiple electronic sensors. The compact design and accuracy also make the EAMS/HP a smart solution for duct flow measuring and plenum wall mounting applications. The factory-assembled standard unit is equipped with an application specific controller that provides a linear 0-20 mA output, proportional to the CFM. EAMS and EAMS-HP are BACnet compatible and are AMCA certified to + 3% of flow for 100 fpm and 50 fpm respectively. The EAMS/HP provides a single output to the BAS regardless if air measuring station is a single or multi-section unit.
